Betty J. Keller, 97
October 18, 1927 – August 10, 2025
HAMILTON: Betty J. Keller of Hamilton passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, at Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Betty was born on October 18, 1927, in Cañon City, Colorado, the daughter of the late Thomas R. Brown and Wanda Colon Brown. When Betty was ten years old, her mother drowned in a boating accident and for several years she lived in a home for children established by the Colorado Order of Odd Fellows. She graduated from Colorado College of Education at Greeley. Betty moved to California where she met her late husband of 59 years, Alois G. Keller, then serving in the U.S. Navy.
Betty is survived by her son, Gregory Keller, Esq., daughter in law, Nancy Keller of Netcong and a daughter, Karen Keller of Lawrenceville. She leaves behind three grandchildren, Casey Hoffman (Drew) of Leighton, Pennsylvania, Theresa Keller of Nottingham, Maryland and Abigail Keller of New York City and two great-grandchildren, Keira and Declan Hoffman. Betty is predeceased by her sister Donna Lint of Wallingford, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Colorado Odd Fellows Friendship House at Home, care of The Sunshine Fund, and sent to 1020 N. 15th St. Cañon City, CO. 81212 are suggested.
Funeral services will be private with internment to follow at BG William Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
