Obituary of Marian Spildener

Marian (nee Kleitsch) Spildener (97) passed away peacefully at Serenity Hospice in Hamilton on July 5, 2025.
Marian was born in Periam, Romania on January 10, 1928. During World War II she fled to Austria and emigrated to the United States in 1950. Marian lived and worked in Philadelphia prior to her marriage to Peter Spildener in Ephrata, Washington in 1957. Moving quite frequently while Peter was enlisted in the United States Air Force, they finally settled in Hamilton Township in 1964.
Marian was a member of St. Raphael R. C. Church and the German American Society. She greatly enjoyed gardening and listening to country music. Her other hobbies included needlepoint, baking and cooking. She especially enjoyed traveling; taking many cruises and going to the beaches in Florida.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eva and John Kleitsch; her husband Peter Spildener; her daughter Elfriede Chac; and her sister Katharina Portscher.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Spildener of Hamilton.
Son and daughter in law, John and Stephanie Spildener of Whiting, NJ.
Granddaughter, Victoria Boston and her husband Hal of New Egypt, NJ.
Granddaughter Jennifer Potter and her husband Trey of Virginia Beach, VA.
Granddaughter Christina Chac and her husband John Goodman of Philadelphia, PA.
Great grandson Charles Boston.
Great granddaughter Scarlet Potter.
A nephew John Portscher and his wife Millie of Emerson, NJ and a niece Katharina Portscher in Germany.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Friday July 11, 2025 at St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton at 10:30am
Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Marian's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project of any other Veteran organization.
