Obituary of Susan T. Nelson

Susan T. Nelson 70 of Hamilton passed away peacefully June 5, 2025 at Serenity Hospice in Hamilton. Susan has been a lifelong area resident, A graduate of Ewing High School in 1972. Attended Mercer County Community College. A graduate of Rutgers University Livingston. And received her Masters in Music Technology at Valley Forge University. She was a Musician, Organist and Piano teacher. She has composed over 500 published musical pieces having worked freelance with published composers with various publishers. She was the former Music director at Advent Lutheran Church. She was the former Music director at St. Mark Lutheran Church. She was also the former music cataloger at Westminster Choir College. Daughter of the late Vincent M. & Frances K. Gilligo. Sister of the late Thomas A. Gilligo and Catherine C. Gulden. Surviving are her son Jonathan Y. Nelson. Sister, Cecilia A. Gilligo. Brother and Sister in law, Vincent J. & Ann Gilligo. Brother in law, Robert Gulden Sister in law, Marsha Gilligo. Many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:45am Thursday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Rev. Jessica Stenstrom will officiate. Interment will be in Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call 10:00am until services at the funeral home.
