Obituary of Oleh Rydzanych

Oleh Rydzanych, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on Thursday May 15th, 2025. He was 56 years old. Oleh was born in Stryy, Ukraine on August 14th, 1968. He was the middle son of Lyubomyr and Oksana "Gnatik" Rydzanych. He married Nataliya Mosiychyk on October 12th, 1991. In 2002 Oleh and his family moved to New Jersey and has been an area resident the past 23 years. He was a loving and supportive father to both of his daughters Iryna and Nadiya. He was an active member of the Ukrainian community. A parishioner of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church and served as President of the Ukrainian National Home for 15 years. He was very patriotic and proud of his homeland. He never went anywhere without his 'tryzub' pin. Oleh's favorite quote by Taras Shevchenko reads "Ukraine, Ukraine! My heart, my mother! When I remember your fate, my heart will weep!" He is survived by his wife of 33 year, Nataliya "Mosiychyk" Rydzanych. His two daughters and sons in law, Iryna and Mykola Lupak, Nadiya and Petro Zelinskyi. His grandchildren, Dmytro and Kateryna Lupak, Zoryana and Zachary Zelinskyi. His brother and sister in law, Yaroslav and Oryslava Rydzanych. His nephews, Nazar and Bohdan Rydzanych. His sister in law Svitlana Rydzanych. His niece Solomia Popivchak and family. He was a beloved husband, loving father and devoted grandfather. He was also a great friend to many and will be deeply missed. Memories made with him will forever live in our hearts. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00am Friday May 23, 2025 at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1195 Deutz Avenue, Trenton NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Langhorne, PA. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00pm Thursday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton, NJ. Parastas services will be Thursday 7:00pm at the funeral home.
