Harold J. "Bud" Sparks Jr. 77 of Monmouth Jct. passed away May 10, 2025 peacefully at home.


Born in Trenton, he attended Trenton Catholic High School and graduated from St. Anthony High School.


He received an associate degree in business.



He served honorably in the US Navy during Vietnam. When he returned he attended the Trenton Police Academy and was a Trenton Police Officer.


Bud spent most of his career as an IT specialist working at Buchanan Ingersol, and was self employed.


Bud also enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool. He played the guitar and was a member of the Original Cop Shoo Bops Band.



Son of the late Harold J. Sparks Sr. and Mary Sparks.


Surviving are his wife Terri Sparks.


His son David Sparks and his fiancé Ally.


His sister Mary A. Sparks.


His sister in law Anne Beres. Brother in law and sister in law Michael and Elizabeth Beres.


Cousins Shirley Roberts and Todd Sparks and his wife Noelle. And Terri Sparks.


His cat Pumkin Pie.


Many friends and customers at Stonebridge and surrounding area.



Prayer services will be 11:00am Tuesday May 20th at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton


Memorial visitation is 10:00 to 11:00am at the funeral home.


Burial will be in BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
