Paul Francis Smith passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on February 4, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he moved to Staten Island, New York nearly 40 years ago for work and dedicated his life to helping others.

Paul began his career as a drug and alcohol counselor before becoming a registered nurse. He spent over 30 years as a psychiatric nurse in Staten Island, providing compassionate care and support to those in need.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Jessica Rose Smith and Stephanie Samantha Smith, as well as his brothers, John Smith and Bill Smith. Paul's kindness, wisdom, and dedication to his work and family will be deeply missed.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service, and he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to a mental health organization of your choice.
