Obituary of Nicholas R. Basile

Nicholas "Nick" Basile, of Bordentown, NJ, passed away on February 4, 2025. Nick now joins his late wife of 51 years Terri Basile, who passed away in August 2023; he is survived by his sisters-in-law Diane Basile and Patricia Kurth and her husband Roy Kurth; niece Nicole LaRusso and husband Joe and their four boys Matthew, Joshua, Jake and Lucas; nephew Christopher Basile and his wife Dana and their children Isabella and Christopher; nephew Adam Kurth and his wife Marissa and their children Bailey and Wesley; niece Renee McCluski and her children Mason and Avery; nephew Keven Kurth and his wife Kristen and their children Sienna and Calvin. In addition to Terri, Nick was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Margie Basile. Nick grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey, and lived in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, before settling in Bordentown, New Jersey, in 2005 to be closer to his family. Nick and Terri always thought of their nieces and nephews as their own kids and they meant the world to them. Nick worked almost 40 years at AT&T and then Lucent Technologies before retiring. Nick was also a lifelong New York Giants fan who loved watching football, cleaning the many cars he owned over the years, drinking coffee and buying lottery tickets. Nick will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The funeral service will be held on Friday February 14, 2025 at 12:30pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610.
