Jacob Gauss 72 of Florence, NJ passed away February 2, 2025.

Mr. Gauss was a Trenton area resident before moving to Florence 16 years ago. He is a graduate of Trenton High School.

He formerly worked with his father and brothers as self employed contractors. He is retired from Arsi Construction.

He coached baseball at Sunnybrae Little League and also formerly coached Soccer.

His great enjoyments were fishing, gardening, woodworking, dining out and dancing.

Pre deceased by his parents Sebastian and Katherine (Leopold) Gauss

his siblings Adam Gauss, Reinhardt Gauss, Magdalena Sciandra and Rosa Sealy.

his nephew Edmund Gauss.

Surviving are his wife Barbara (Hernes) Gauss.

Son Nicholas Gauss.

Sisters in law Debra P. Hernes and Ann Mueller Gauss.

nieces and nephews Linda Schmitt, Barbara Sealy, Sharon Sealy and Michael Sealy.

Great niece Mikayla Schmitt.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Monday February 10, 2025 at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton.

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call 9:00 - 11:00am at the funeral home.
