Theresa "Terri" Basile, 71, of Bordentown, NJ, passed away on August 27 after a brief but valiant batter with cancer. Terri is survived by her husband of 51 years Nick Basile; sisters Diane Basile and Patricia Kurth and her husband Roy Kurth; niece Nicole LaRusso and husband Joe and their four boys (Terri's "men") Matthew, Joshua, Jake and Lucas; nephew Christopher Basile and his wife Dana and their children Isabella and Christopher; nephew Adam Kurth and his wife Marissa and their children Bailey and Wesley; niece Renee McCluski and her children Mason and Avery; nephew Keven Kurth and his wife Kristen and their children Sienna and Calvin. Terri is predeceased by her parents Carmine and Rose DeSeglio.

Terri grew up in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, and lived in Cedar Grove, New Jersey, before settling in Bordentown, New Jersey, in 2005 to be closer to her family. Family and friends were everything to Terri and she could always be counted on to make plans for a get together, whether it be coffee at the diner, lunch at one of her favorite restaurants or a gathering at her house complete with lots of snacks and desert.

Terri was the "fun aunt" to her nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. She spoiled them rotten and had no regrets. There was nothing she liked more than taking the kids out for a treat or trip to Target or GameStop that always resulted in a secret gift their parents were not to know about.

Terri was the rock of the family and would do anything and everything for any family member who needed her. She was always a phone call or text away and would not take no for an answer. She was one in a million and did things her way. Terri will greatly missed but never forgotten.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 12:30pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610.
