Thomas C. Schriber, 91, of Hamilton, passed away on December 24, 2020. Born in Trenton, he has been an area resident all of his life. Thomas was a member of St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church and St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He retired in 1985 as a foreman from CV Hill Refrigeration. After his retirement he was a self-employed ceramic tile setter. Thomas was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Inchon Invasion in Korea, with the rank of Corporal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 313. He served as the President of the Church Council of St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church. He was a member of the church bowling league, the Hamilton Seniors, and the Decou Seniors. He loved to fish, and watch the Phillies and Eagles. Pre-deceased by his father Thomas B. Schriber, his mother and step-father Eva (Piffat) and Albert Baszczowski, his son Thomas Charles Schriber, his sister Rose Norris, and his daughter Andrea's partner of 20 years, Neil Matheson, he is survived by his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 71 years Evelyn (Ranto) Schriber of Hamilton, his children Andrea Linder of Woodbine, NJ, and Tammy and Timothy Turner of Hamilton, his grandchildren Robert Linder, Danielle Torretta, Timothy and his wife Stephanie Turner, Daniel Turner, and his great-granddaughter Ava Torretta, and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:30am at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Cemetery, Lily St., Hamilton. Pastor Ian Hill will officiate.
