His warm & loving family was by his side. He was blessed with health for most of his years. You do your highest number of push-ups and Ernie would do one more. As a family, they enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore & cheering for their kids in the local youth sports programs. Ernie was an excellent assistant armchair coach for the NY Yankees. Florida excursions with Lucy were treasured along with going to the track & casino together. Both Ernie and Lucy will be remembered as the beautiful and caring people that they were. Family was always first. Part of his extended family included Mary, Vicki and his many friends at The Squirrel's Nest. The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Gary Karlin for helping Ernie go strong for his last 13 years.
