Brenda J. Southwick 57 of Hamilton passed away September 24, 2017 with her family at her side. Brenda was a graduate of Steinert High School, She worked for Edison Brothers Shoe Stores, Inc, as a store Manager, earning numerous awards and citations for outstanding sales and customer support. She lived in Cape May, NJ for close to 20 years before returning to Hamilton. She worked and was Manager of the Crest Tavern in Wildwood Crest. Brenda loved the beach, outdoors, gardening and all of nature, she also loved all kinds of animals, especially her beloved dogs, Jeff and Rukkus. She was a volunteer for Stray Catz, Inc. Surviving are her Mother, Joan Mattozzi Southwick and her father, William M. Southwick. Her siblings, Karen & Anthony Lettera, Linda & Joseph Bellina, Kim & George E. Ott, Jr. Paul & Dawn Southwick, Kenneth & Cathleen Southwick. Nieces and nephews, Scott Lettera & Fiance Susan Svacak. George & Karla Ott, III. Kevin Ott & Fiance Amanda Long. Zachary Southwick. Madison & Megan Southwick. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of the RWJ Intensive Care Unit in Hamilton for their exceptional compassion, expertise, support, and excellent care during Brenda's last days. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00am at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 South Broad St. Trenton. Relatives and friends may call Monday 6:00 - 9:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Animal Friends for Education & Welfare, PO Box 1341, Hightstown, NJ 08520 or to Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad St. Trenton NJ 08608.
