Erwin Teichmann 72 of Columbus, NJ passed away March 28, 2017 Born in Seekirchen, Austria he has been an area resident most of his life. He was a graduate of Bordentown High School. He served in the US Armyas a SP4 Combat Engineer. A member of Masonic Lodge Mercer 50, F.&AM and was Past Master of the Lodge. Past President of the German American Society in Yardville. A member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #27. A volunteer at the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia A recipient of the Community Hero Award from Mercer County ARC An avid golfer he also enjoyed fishing and boating. Son of the late Gabriel & Kati Teichmann Father of the late Franklin Russell Teichmann Nephew of the late Sophie David Surviving are his son Paul E. Teichmann of Florence, AL Brother and sister in law Michael & Barbara Teichmann of Key Largo, FL Sister and brother in law Hilde & Thomas Simco of Larkspur, CO His longtime companion Betty Calasso of Columbus and her family. cats Sammy and BJ Many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30am Saturday at St. Raphael Church 3500 South Broad St. Hamilton.
