Obituary of Antero Figueroa

Antero Figueroa 92 of Columbus, NJ passed away February 2, 2017 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Figueroa was born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. He has been a Trenton resident most of his life before moving to Columbus. A parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish in Trenton Retired from the Trenton Special Police Force, also Trenton Folding Box, Bayer Aspirin and Cybis. He enjoyed shooting pool, dancing and family gatherings and was formerly in a bowling league. Son of the late Antonio and Paula Figueroa Husband of the late Mercedes Arias Figueroa Brother of the late Eleanor Rodriguez, Emerito Figueroa, Maria Ortiz and Fernando Figueroa Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Doris M. & Steven Boseke Sr. of Columbus Son, Robert D. Figueroa of Trenton Son, Dennis Figueroa of Los Angeles, CA 5 grandchildren Lauren Caron, Rachel Bellerby, Jenna L. Dolbare, Elyse N. Humphrey and Robert Figueroa. 5 great grandchildren, J.P. Caron III, Lola Caron, Cali Caron, Ryan P. Figueroa and Lucy Dolbare. Sisters and brothers, Secundina Colon, Bernaldina Guisao, Justina Gonzalez, Eliodora Figueroa and Edelmira Nye. and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be 9:30am Tuesday from Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am at the Church of the Holy Cross, 201 Adeline St. Trenton Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Relatives and friends may call Monday 6:00 - 9:00pm at the funeral Home In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center at: www.sthuberts.org/donate
